March 14, 2007 Dear Margaret, I just wanted to send you a note to Thank You once again, and tell you what a wonderful time my family and I had staying at your beautiful Cabin on the pond in south Georgia. We don't get out of the city often, and I can't believe that my two teenage boys didn't play one video game or listen to their IPODS the entire weekend! I haven't been able to really connect with them lately, and we actually talked and laughed the whole weekend while fishing right outside the back door, playing board games on the big screened porch, and enjoying the lovely and quiet country scenery. My son said it was like being on the Discovery Channel as we woke up early to the rooster crowing, and listened and watched the nature around us. The animals (goats, guinea hens, chickens, birds, cats, dogs, etc.) were all so cute and interesting to watch. My sons were so proud of the huge fish they caught, and I have heard them on the phone telling all of their friends about what a cool experience it was. We couldn't believe our eyes one morning when we saw a beautiful red fox come out of the woods across the field with its cub in its mouth. We will probably never see anything like that again! The cabin was so roomy with the full kitchen and large living area, and the loft with three beds upstairs was great for the kids. We really enjoyed the pool table, the large screen satellite TV, and all the conveniences of home. The custom creek rock corner fireplace with the Bobcat and real Tree mantle was awesome! Last but not least, your warm and friendly southern hospitality was so refereshing and you really went out of your way to make our stay special. The big country breakfast (homemade biscuits, gravy, sausage, fresh fruit cup and all the trimmings) was one of the best I have ever had. I have told so many people about how much fun we had and how peaceful and beautiful it was for such a resonable price, and I know at least one of them has already contacted you about staying for a weekend. For busy executives like us it is so therapeutic to spend a quiet weekend connecting with nature and each other, and realizing what is really important in life.
